Adding Images from PowerPoint

You can covert a PowerPoint presentation with images into a Web page for posting on your Blackboard site by following these steps:

1. Create a master folder on your computer, where you will save all of your files for your Blackboard images.

2. Open the PowerPoint file that contains the images.

3. Save the PowerPoint file as a Web page (.htm) to the master folder.

4. Close the file.

5. Create a zip file of the master folder by right-clicking on the folder and selecting WinZip, then Add to Zip.

6. Logon to your course.

7. Click on the Control Panel link.
8. Under Content Areas, click Course Information, Course Documents, or Assignments to add the PowerPoint file.
9. In the Add section, click the Item button.
10. Enter a name and an optional description or text.
11. Click Browse to locate and select the newly created zip file.
12. Name the link.
13. For Special Action, select Unpackaged This File.
14. Click Submit.
15. Select Entry Point as main .htm file.
16. Click Submit.
