After you have registered for a class and made arrangements to pay your tuition and fees, take the following steps to create your Blackboard account:

1. Get on the Internet.
2. Go to http://clackamas.blackboard.com
3. Click on the Create Account button.
4. Fill in the information requested. Note: your name, e-mail address, a logon and password of your choice are all that are required to create your account. You may leave the other fields blank.
5. Write down your logon and password and keep it in a place where you'll be able to find it.
6. Click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
7. Click OK on the next screen.

After you find your course in the Blackboard catalog, you MUST click on the ENROLL button to the right of the course name to get started in your Blackboard class! This is NOT an option!

Your Blackboard logon and password are case sensitive. You will always need to enter your logon and password in exactly the same way every time you go to the Blackboard web site.

Your newly created Blackboard account can be used to access any online, hybrid, or face-to-face course that has a Blackboard component if you are registered for the class.
