Requesting Recycling of a Course

Note: Always request archival of your course along with recycling, because recycling deletes information that cannot be restored!

To request recycling of an existing Blackboard course shell, please take the following steps: 

1. Logon to Blackboard and open your course.
2. Click on the Control Panel.
3. Click on Settings.
4. Click on Course Name and Description.
5. Place your cursor at the start of the Course Name and type the word ARCHIVE & RECYCLE in all caps.
6. Click the Submit button.

 The Blackboard Administrator will recycle the course as part of routine Blackboard maintenance.
