Sending E-mail through Blackboard
You can use Blackboard's Send E-Mail feature to
communicate in the following ways:

Sends e-mail to all users in the
course. |
| All Groups |
Sends e-mail to all groups in the
course. |
| All Teaching
Assistants |
Sends e-mail to all Teaching
Assistants for the course. |
| All Instructors |
Sends e-mail to all instructors for
the course. |
| All Leaders |
Sends e-mail to all leaders of a
group or organization. |
| Select Users |
Sends e-mail to a single, selected
user in the course. |
| Select Groups |
Sends e-mail to a single, selected
group in a course. |
To use Blackboard's Send E-mail feature, logon
to your course and take the following steps:
- Click on the COMMUNICATION button on the
left side of your screen.
- Click on the Send E-mail link.
- Choose to whom you want to send a message.
- After selecting the recipient of the message,
- Enter the subject. If sending an e-mail message
to your instructor or teaching assistant, be sure to include the course
number and your last name in the subject line.
- Enter your message.
- To add an attachment (such as your homework
assignment), click the ADD button and click the BROWSE
button.
- Locate and select the file that you want to attach
and click the Open button.
- Click the Submit button to add the file.
- Click the Submit button again to send the
message.
- Click the OK button.
