Introduction

I would like you to start your study of biochemistry by writing down what you believe to be some of the characteristics of living things. Please take a few minutes to do this in exercise one in your workbook.

Hang on to that list and we'll be looking at it later.

What I'd like to do now is to give you a brief glimpse at some of the topics that we will be covering as we go through this lesson.
