CJA-150: Intro to Police Intelligence

Course Description: This is an Online Distance Learning Course using Blackboard course delivery software. Students are not required to come to campus to participate in this course. Examines the basic police intelligence mission. Demonstrates the five-step intelligence process. Illustrates the differences between tactical (investigative unit) intelligence, strategic intelligence, and operational (regional) intelligence. Discusses the legal limitations to intelligence information gathering.
