Week of Jan 19 Podcasting (Audacity, iTunes, and iPods)
Podcasting allows instructors to create and share audio files with their students over the Internet. With an iPod, students can listen to these files anywhere and any time increasing opportunities for learning
Week of Jan 26 Google Earth
Learn how Google Earth is emerging as an interdisciplinary platform for active learning. Earth combines geography, current events, biology, etc., enhancing any learning task that can be situated in time and place

Week of Feb 2 RSS, Google Reader and Outlook
RSS is Really Simple Syndication, and is a way for newly updated content to be shared automatically with an audience. Google Reader and Outlook are tools that aggregate RSS feeds into a single location for ease of use.

Week of Feb 9 Slideshows (Powerpoint and Google Slideshows)
Electronic slideshows provide a great way to present important ideas in a lecture and support the learning needs of visual learners. New slideshow technologies allow instructors to create and share slideshows over the web.

Week of Feb 16 Social Bookmarking (Delicious and Diigo)
Social bookmarking allows a group of users to share and organize bookmarks (favorites) over the internet. A great tool for collaborative internet research.

Video conferencing allows for live conferences to be conducted over the Internet and for personalized, direct instruction while online.
