Course Description: This is a hosted Online Distance Learning Course, taught by Chemeketa Community College. Students are not required to come to campus to participate in this course. Covers Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment and discrimination, civil rights, court procedures, contract law, negligence, guest obligations, alcohol liability, travel agent relationships, and licensing and regulations.

Textbook and Materials: For this class, students will need the following textbooks and materials:

Textbooks, course materials and some software may be purchased from Chemeketa Community College bookstore at (503) 599-513. The Clackamas bookstore does not stock this textbook.

Computer Requirements: To participate in this course, students should have the following technology:

• Internet Account

• E-Mail Account

• Computer with Internet capability and system adequate for running software required for the course.

• Software required for course, if any (see Textbooks/Materials, above)

Technical Skills Required: To participate in this course, students should be able to:

• Use word processing software (WordPad, Word, or WordPerfect)

• Create and find directories, folders and files on a PC

• Use e-mail to send attachments

• Use the Internet for academic research
