Course Description: This is an Online Distance Learning Course. Students are not required to come to campus to participate in this course. An overview of the food service industry - its structure, organization, size, economic impact, regulatory industries and peripheral industries; managerial problems and practices; trade journals and resources with a broad review of the various food service segments. Discussion of operational topic;s of current concern for the industry. Hosted from Chemeketa Community College.
